Piotr Grudovski: The Candy man

Piotr first enrolled on the MyBiz Workshops with the idea of setting up a mobile business selling candyfloss.

However Piotr soon realised that he needed to expand his product range so that the idea would appeal to more people.

Piotr also believed that he had no competition as no one else was selling candy floss in his area, but after some support and guidance from his MyBiz coach he came to realise that static shops and mobile shops could be considered as competition and also from further away than just his local area.

By encouraging Piotr to get him started with more extensive market research the MyBiz workshops were also able to build his confidence and altogether widen the variety of products he would be selling. This now meant he would potentially attract more customers. He realised that he could compete better by working out his strengths and his competitor’s weaknesses to become more successful. Piotr said: “The course made me realise what I needed to do to move forward.”
