John Nutter, Mindworx hypnotherapy practice

John Nutter set up Mindworx, a hypnotherapist practice, in June 2008 when he decided to go self-employed. John is a retired fireman, after working in the fire service for 30 years he decided to follow a career in hypnotherapy. 

During his time in the fire service he worked with many different people, and also experienced different emotions based on the things he saw and was involved with in his job. John already knew the ‘ins and outs’ of starting a business, but wanted to do the Mybiz programme as you can always pick up and learn new things. John wanted to focus on finding routes to market and also to raise his credibility as a hypnotherapist. Attending the workshops he said “He did not feel alone as the majority of the group were in a similar situation”.

John particularly enjoyed talking with people around the table and sharing experiences. John is currently looking at researching the market place and looking at the possibility of strategic alliances. John is committed to developing the business and exploring the different routes to market, he is now also looking at developing a range of relaxation CDs as a means of extending the offer to his clients. John is passionate about hypnotherapy and enjoys the fact that people, when they see him, see instant changes.
